DELIVERY & RETURNS POLICY
We endeavour to keep our product range available in our UK warehouse. We collaborate with our product supply chains who hold stock in EU warehouses for immediate dispatch to our UK warehouse – items shown in stock on our website are UK and Europe active stock levels.
Express delivery is within 1-2 working days from stock being available for us to despatch.
Standard delivery is within 2-4 working days from stock being available for us to despatch.
Please note delivery will be 7-9 days from the date of order if we do not have the item in our UK warehouse.
Free of charge delivery is available for orders over £250 + VAT across UK mainland*. The delivery timeframe is within 4 working days from stock being available for us to despatch. Free delivery is only available for orders made via email.
Please contact us for a quote for any order being delivered outside UK mainland.
*Due to increased courier costs for Northern parts of Scotland, an additional small surcharge may be added.

Costs shown for international orders do not include local taxes and duties – these will be payable by the importer at the time of import into the country – Sail Electric cannot and do not take this charge.
Cables are cut to requirements, unfortunately we are unable to cancel a cable order once they have been cut and offer a refund.
Solar PV modules, bulky, heavy and dangerous goods (batteries)
Please note free delivery does not apply to batteries, solar panels and any other oversized/heavy items unless prior arranged via email, these items are quoted for shipping upon receipt of your order – any order(s) will not be confirmed until shipping cost and lead time has been agreed by return email.
Solar panel shipping – are shipped by oversized pallet up to the maximum number allowed by the manufacturer on any one pallet (please see datasheets). This has a flat rate of £115.00 + VAT per pallet. Please note you must be able to receive by HGV, please provide a phone number and please state if a tail lift is required.
Battery shipping – is priced per order and always shipped on a pallet.
We can offer an express delivery option. The delivery timeframe is within 2 working days from stock being available for us to despatch. The charges for Express Delivery are based on weight and dimensions of the order and destination address. The Express Delivery option is available for items in stock and those with lead times, it ensures a quicker arrival date than when choosing Standard Delivery.
Same day despatch is usually available for items in stock and for orders placed before 10am Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). If for any reason we are unable to deliver a product within our normal timeframes we will call or email you to notify you of this.
Ordering from outside of the UK
We currently offer the ability to order via email ( email@example.com) for orders abroad.
We are adding more functionality and products all the time. If you can not find what you need on our site, please contact us on +44 333 772 2030 or send us a message and our technical sales team will be happy to provide you with a quotation.
You can track the status of your order on-line on the courier’s website. This will show you when your order has been despatched, its progress, and when it will be delivered. You will also receive an email when the goods are despatched, with your tracking number. For oversized/heavy items please contact us.
Collect in person
We are happy for you to collect your order from our warehouse if that is more convenient. Please indicate this on your order and we will hold your order here in North Devon for you as per our terms and conditions. Please note due to COVID-19 there are specific protocols we have in place for yours and our safety. Please contact us directly.
We are happy to undertake returns as per our terms and conditions. Please ensure however that you study the technical information for each product carefully as we can only offer an exchange if the item is faulty.
You may cancel your order within 14 days of the date of collection or delivery. Notice of cancellation should be made by email. If you are returning a product because of any problem with the goods, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation and you maybe asked to provide images.
On cancellation, you must return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of receipt, unless the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrect goods or because of unsuitable substitution by us, in which case we will meet the cost of return to a maximum of the original order delivery cost after obtaining a returns number from us.
The goods must be returned in their original packaging and returned in packaging suitable (as despatched by us) to keep them part protected from damage in transit.
Free repairs are offered on faulty goods within warranty. Outside of warranty, the unit will be repaired/replaced at the relevant cost; all prices will be quoted before work is carried out.
